Hoxie, Maureen Ann, 65, of Hyannis, passed peacefully on April 1, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

Maureen was the dear daughter of Florence (Zappa) and William E. Dacey. She was born in Boston, grew up in Dorchester and Randolph and in the 10th grade moved to Cape Cod where she lived out her life. She graduated from Barnstable High, class of 1967 and went on to a career as a certified CNA. Maureen met the love of her life, Henry Hoxie, and soon after married in 1973. Hoxie, Maureen Ann, 65, of Hyannis, passed peacefully on April 1, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

Maureen was the dear daughter of Florence (Zappa) and William E. Dacey. She was born in Boston, grew up in Dorchester and Randolph and in the 10th grade moved to Cape Cod where she lived out her life. She graduated from Barnstable High, class of 1967 and went on to a career as a certified CNA. Maureen met the love of her life, Henry Hoxie, and soon after married in 1973. Henry and Maureen spent 42 loving years together, raising their two wonderful daughters. Maureen was very famous for her "Nana Mo" cakes, spending time with her grandchildren around Wequacet Lake, boating and swimming, always captivating her audience with wonderful stories, never missing a Red Sox or Patriots game and an avid supporter of her local Barnstable Silver Bullets.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Henry Hoxie, her loving daughters: Allison Morse and Erin Whittemore, her dear step-daughters: Debrah Russo and the late Sheryl Sundelin. Maureen is also survived by her siblings: William, Michael, Debbie and her husband Peter, Brian and his wife Cindy, Kitsy and her husband Alan, Paula, and Matty as well as several nieces and nephews. Maureen will be greatly missed by her cherished grandchildren: Adam, Jenna, Alexis, Hannah, Jared, Olivia, and her three wonderful great grandsons: Riley, Jayden, and Jeffrey, Jr.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 8 at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 W. Main Street, Hyannis, from 5-7 PM. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 9 at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Centerville at 1:00 PM.
